From fashion to tech. From physical products to digital services. From Italy to the Netherlands. Stefano’s career path is anything but traditional, and that’s exactly what makes him feel at home at Insify.

“They needed someone to take social seriously”

When Stefano, Senior Media Manager, joined Insify, social media was still an unexplored channel. “It was seen as high potential, but it still needed to be proven. That was my challenge. With a background in both fashion and tech, I had some experience in performance marketing and storytelling. That came in handy as we were in the middle of a rebrand. Social and brand development suddenly came together.” “Fashion was where I started, but I’ve always been drawn to new technology as well. In fashion, there’s always a physical limit to what you can produce and sell. Tech feels like a world of endless possibilities. Of course selling insurance is completely different from selling a sweater. It’s abstract. But that forces you to really think about how to communicate value.”

“I love organised chaos”

“Insify is the smallest company I’ve ever worked for, and I like that. As someone who thrives in startups, I feel most at home in the early stages, when not everything is set in stone. I love that organised chaos. Also, my previous job was fully remote. Now I’m back in an office with colleagues, and that works. Creativity is really sparked through in-person collaboration I think.” “Insify is ambitious, focused and fast. If you like slow meetings and clearly defined frameworks, this probably isn’t your place. There’s no predefined path here. You have to find your own direction. That means freedom, but also responsibility. No one’s going to tell you what to do.”

To new joiners

When asked what advice he’d give to newcomers at Insify, Stefano doesn’t hesitate:

“Pick one project you believe in, and own it. That sense of ownership gives you focus, drive, and a reason to show up every day. Learn by doing. Mistakes? Totally fine. They're how you grow. Be adventurous, autonomous and eager. Don’t wait for instructions: dive in headfirst.”
